UNO clothing combines three generations of racing cyclists with a lifetime of manufacturing, the past 16 years specialising in cycling apparel, to produce quality clothing for speed and comfort.
Our garments are specifically created for all sectors of cycling, from professional racing cyclists to recreational riders, in designs for both men and women.

Team UNO, the VIS, and UNO fem
UNO is proud to be associated with the Victorian Institute of Sport (VIS). And VIS riders Jenny McPherson, Emma Rickards, Pat Shaw, Simon Clark and Nic Sanderson, then Peta Mullens, Leigh Howard and Will Ford (right) modelled some of the UNO jerseys and knicks for the website photos. For more on the VIS and Team UNO click here.
Team UNO is a registered cycling team, established in 2004 to race at state, national and international level, and to wear, test and report on UNO garments and to experiment with different fabrics and designs, as part of our committment to continuously develop and test garments. In 2005, UNO established the UNO-VIS Junior Development Squad which identifies and supports talented young riders with potential, and helps them on their way to enter the elite level of cycling. The first of these young riders was Leigh Howard, who in August 2006 went on to win gold at the World junior track championships in Belgium, and wore gold again at the 2007 World junior track championships. In 2006, UNO established Team UNO fem, to encourage and give support to young women riders, under the direction of Kim Howard. The story behind UNO
UNO's aim is to develop and make technically-correct, affordable cycling clothing. UNO was established, and is managed by, Preston Forster, who has more than 40 years experience in the bike industry, as a competitor, as a racing administrator and handicapper, and a designer, importer and wholesaler of bikes, and now of UNO clothing.
After decades of cyclists paying top dollar for cycling apparel, and with a huge increase in the number of leisure and recreational riders, especially women riders, Preston Forster decided it was time for a change in the cycling apparel industry. After a year of working closely with a small family-run Chinese clothing factory that had a life time of garment manufacturing, and painstakingly testing and trialling fabrics and designs, UNO clothing was launched in July 2004.
“Our aim with UNO is to make technically-correct clothing for professional riders, but also make it available at affordable prices, to encourage recreational riders to ride in proper gear. And Team UNO and the VIS are crucial in helping us experiment with different fabrics and designs. UNO cycling clothing is team tested. Why pay more?” he said.
