Aidan McInerney
Aidan started riding only 3 years ago “because my parents were riding around a bit, so I got a bike and started”. He joined Carnegie Cycling Club and became a registered Team UNO rider in September 2005, after he reached the top ten in the state titles, in Wangaratta in August. He then went on to the National Road Championships in Mooloolaba, where he finished a credible 9 th himself.
At the Victorian Schools Championships in Melbourne in October, Aidan came second, behind Leigh. And in the Tasmanian 2005 Christmas Carnivals, he made the final of the 2km handicap on the first day of the Devonport races.
In the Tour of Bright, Aidan won stage 1, came 5 th in the criterium and finished 1 place behind Alex in general classification.
